Lisa is absolutely wonderful! Everyone's hair looked so great and stayed in place all night. I was a little concerned about making my short hair look "dressed up" for my wedding, but Lisa created a beautiful, elegant style and I was so pleased with the results. She really went the extra mile by squeezing in an extra updo the day of the wedding and still getting everything done on schedule. Overall, it was a great experience.

Lisa was great and made the getting ready process no stress! I had a destination wedding in Breckenridge and had to do all of the planning from Chicago. I came across Lisa’s ad on craiglist and contacted her. I really liked that she would travel to us so all of the girls didn’t have to pack up for a salon. We were able to drink mimosas and have breakfast, so getting ready for the wedding turned into a fun event. After speaking via email with Lisa I knew that she would be perfect. Some of my bridesmaids had been in several weddings and they commented on how wonderful it was to have a website to look at and how nice it was that Lisa wanted to hear their ideas prior to wedding day (these were things I didn’t even think of when I was looking). They were all big fans before the wedding day as well.
Then came the hair! EVERYONE looked great and got exactly what they were looking for, including me. My hair stayed up perfectly all night and photographed very well. Several wedding guests gushed about all of our hair and couldn’t get over how great each style looked. We were all thrilled with the results. Lisa was an added bonus to my special day! Thank you!
I found the process of looking for a hairstylist for my wedding day completely overwhelming. My married friends didn't really have any recommendations, and I wasn't really sure where to look or what I should be looking for. I feel so lucky to have found Lisa. Without having a trial run, she managed to meld together multiple pictures I had collected, taking my favorite aspects of each picture to create a style that was truly my own. And she was so quick - normally stylists are overwhelmed by my very thick hair, but she managed to finish mine, and my mother's (also very thick) with plenty of time to style two of my bridesmaids (one with very straight, fine hair) who decided at the very last minute they would also like for her to give them updos after seeing mine. I am still extremely impressed. Without hesitation I would recommend Lisa to anyone getting married - you won't be disappointed.

Anyone that has a moment and would like to take a journey on my professional relationship with Lisa Raymond -- please read along.
Before this all starts, let me introduce myself. My name is Cheryl Williams and I have been in the Cosmetology field for 27 years. I have been an educator and speaker for several international color and hair companies. While doing this I also worked as an Independent Master Hair Colorist in N.Y.. Throughout the years I have taught, trained, and help develop the staff. It was at this time that I had the pleasure of meeting Lisa Raymond.
Throughout our time together Lisa absorbed, questioned, and developed her natural abilities. Her work, ethics, and responsibility led her to be the most talented and most asked for stylist within an incredibly short time.
A creative artist is not made; they are born with the "vision". I call the true artists in our field "visionary artists". This means that they can see you, listen to your needs, understand the goal, and professionally guide you to the best results. Everything is taken into account. Nothing is overlooked. Lisa has been my hair stylist for well over 7 years, and she is a master of her art. I was recommended to Lisa through other brides I had met in the circuit of wedding planning, and had only received raving reviews about her work, her personality, and the convenience of her traveling to you for a more personalized and focused environment, which is what tipped my scale and made me call her for a trial run. When Lisa arrived to my home I was immediately impressed with how personable she was, and how she genuinely seemed interested in hearing not only what I envisioned for my hair, but how my overall planning process was going and who I was as a person outside of being a bride, which was a nice break in the wedding planning whirlwind. She was very patient with me as I displayed my many pictures of styles, and really helped me break down what it was in each of the pictures that attracted me to it. We had previously arranged to try several styles at the run, since I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted, and secretly I wanted enough time to make sure that this was a person I could tolerate the morning of my wedding. But about fifteen minutes into the trial, even before I saw the hair result, I knew that Lisa was going to be my stylist because she was just such a wonderful spirit to be around. Oh, but then when she spun me around and showed me the final result of the first style, I was blown away. She had created a piece of artwork that helped me envision my complete look for my wedding day. With my gown I never felt that “It’s the one” feeling, but with my hair and my stylist I knew exactly that. Lisa was “The one.”
